Hybrid Light & SLR Pinewood Derby

During the 2012/2013 NASCAR Nationwide Series race schedule, HybridLight and Team SLR had the opportunity to make and meet a lot of new fans. One young fan in particular, was able to recreate the HybridLight #8 race car into a winning Boy Scouts of America Pinewood Derby Car.

Reece the owner and driver of the above mentioned pinewood derby car, suffers from a rare form of leukemia. His Pinewood Derby HybridLight #8 NASCAR Nationwide replica car was very competitive and placed 5th in the race and won Pack Favorite. HybridLight is "Shinin' a Light" in  the lives of so many young race fans!
